A well-crafted mystery with compelling characters. I won’t get into details to avoid spoilers, but here are a few things I appreciated. The author has a clear, concise and sharp writing style that makes for an easy read. The characters are well rounded and fleshed out. I think she did an excellent job capturing how trauma affects a family. And she knows how to write from the perspective of a young person.
